Escape from the Bay

Over £20,000 was raised for the trust

This unique event offered an opportunity for the public and businesses in the community to get behind us and raise money for the New South Wales Police Youth Trust.

The event, supported by Real Radio breakfast show hosts Tony Wright and Angela Jay invited the public to nominate a person of their choice, Teacher, family member, their boss, or themselves to ‘do time’ - 12 hours to be exact, in police custody.

Local businesses were also sponsored tables at a special police themed dinner complete with cell experience.

"Why get involved? - Because you care about the future of Wales and the young people who are our future.

Former Chief Constable Barbara Wilding

"Northgate is delighted to be supporting the South Wales Police Youth Trust through it's charity dinner. As a long time supplier we have worked with the force to help them reduce crime over a number of years. Our support of the trust extends our relationship to help them provide young people with a means of making a positive contribution in their communities."

Robert Watts, Sales and Marketing Director, Northgate Public Services
